Path 4-You: Making Way for Inclusivity

The Pulse-Point Agenda: SAMAHAN Voice Path

The Pulse-Point Agenda unifies SAMAHAN's governance functions into one structured pathway for student representation. Through OSG's Ateneo PULSE, student concerns are systematically gathered. Through OSVP's Legis It!, these concerns are refined into formal proposals. Strategic focus points, centered but not limited to academic equity, holistic health, and institutional transparency, are integrated throughout this process to provide clear direction and guide the student body, in identifying their needs.

SAMAHAN Voice Path, under the Office of the SAMAHAN President, serves as the actualization arm, consolidating endorsed proposals, elevating them to the University Academic Council (UAC) and relevant offices, and ensuring sustained follow-through.

This system ensures that student voices do not end at feedback or drafting, they move forward into formal dialogue, representation, and institutional action.

Post-Palaro & UFest Health Break Initiative

After the high energy, late nights, and physical exhaustion brought by Palaro and UFest season, SAMAHAN would lobby for this health break initiative to be included in the university calendar, a campus-wide recovery initiative focused on helping students reset, recharge, and refocus.

This program recognizes that while big events build school spirit, they can also leave students physically tired, mentally drained, and academically overwhelmed.

Path of Purpose (Opportunities)

Blue Career Connect

Blue Career Connect is a recurring, semester-based initiative that serves as a direct bridge between Ateneans and real employment opportunities, with structured hiring pathways open to all students of all programs and year levels. Anchored to the specific career needs of each academic cluster, this initiative complements and strengthens both cluster-based career fairs and a university-wide general career fair to ensure targeted and inclusive opportunities for all.

  • ·Hiring Partner Network – A curated pool of companies actively hiring interns, part-timers, and fresh graduates, matched to both cluster-specific and general recruitment needs.
  • ·On-Campus Recruitment Days – Recurring mini job fairs conducted in partnership with the Ateneo Pathways Office and relevant offices to translate engagement into actual interviews and hiring.
    • Cluster-Specific Career Fairs – Separate career fairs organized per academic cluster, focusing on industries, roles, and hiring partners aligned with the distinct professional pathways of each field.
    • University-Wide Career Fair – A general career fair open to all programs, bringing together diverse industries for broader exploration and cross-disciplinary opportunities.

Through Blue Career Connect, every Atenean, especially graduating students, is given a clearer, better-supported, and continuously accessible pathway from education to employment.

Likhang Atenean: The Atenean Talent Showcase

As part of the 2nd Semester Opener, this platform is a dedicated "open-event" space for the recognition and celebration of Atenean talent. Unlike traditional competitions, this is a non-competitive venue focused on showcasing student creativity and fostering community appreciation in a pressure-free environment.

While the event is open to all, it goes beyond a simple display; to ensure meaningful recognition, special awards will be given to standout submissions to honor their craftsmanship and contribution to campus culture. To elevate these artists, members of the press and external partners may be invited to provide sponsorships and career-building opportunities for the further enhancement of their talents.

Event features:

  • ·Gallery Walk: A curated exhibition in Arrupe Hall for visual artists.
  • ·Live Performances: A spotlight for musicians, dancers, and spoken word artists.
  • ·Student Marketplace: A venue for Atenean-owned brands and ventures to grow their reach.

In partnership with the Treasurer's Platform of Salo-Salo, the celebration concludes with a community meal. Immediately following the awarding of special honors for our best talents, food will be provided for the students to celebrate our collective identity.

Path of Presence (Accessibility)

Access Ateneo: A Campus Without Barriers

Access Ateneo is a student-led lobbying initiative, carried out in coordination and active communication with relevant university offices, to ensure that every Atenean, especially PWD students, can move across campus safely, independently, and with dignity. Through sustained representation and policy engagement, students can expect tangible, visible improvements that make daily campus life more accessible and inclusive.

Students will gain:

  • ·Clear and visible accessibility signage across campus for easier navigation.
  • ·An updated PWD-friendly campus map highlighting accessible entrances, ramps, elevators, restrooms, and safe routes.
  • ·Safer and more reliable pathways between buildings and common areas.
  • ·Reduced mobility barriers in key student spaces.

Through coordinated lobbying and institutional collaboration, Access Ateneo ensures that inclusivity is translated into concrete, long-term structural improvements on campus.

Harvest Link: Roots in Action Program

Harvest Link is SAMAHAN's institutionalized agriculture and entrepreneurship advocacy, held annually at Arrupe Hall in partnership with the B&M Cluster. This initiative transforms the campus into a shared marketplace where local farmers and student-led ventures collaborate, creating direct market access and practical business engagement.

Through Harvest Link, we aim to:

  • ·Provide sustainable selling opportunities for local farmers through direct-to-consumer booths.
  • ·Empower student entrepreneurs through hands-on market exposure and real-world enterprise.
  • ·Build lasting partnerships between the university and regional farming communities.

To ensure impact goes beyond the marketplace, the Roots in Action Program provides sustained support through:

  • ·Community Farm Immersions: Organized visits where students assist in harvesting and farm work.
  • ·Adopt-a-Farm Initiative: Coordinated drives providing tools, seedlings, and logistical support.

By bridging entrepreneurship and agriculture, Harvest Link empowers local producers while forming socially responsible, community-driven Ateneans.
