ACC Week: The Griffin Salubong
ACC Week is a year-opener set of festive activities that welcomes Griffins, especially first-year students, as the new academic year begins. This is an opportunity for the cluster to introduce the Accountancy Student Executive Council (ASEC), its academic organizations, and clubs, while also organizing events that encourage students to start the academic year with a positive, vibrant attitude.
Accountancy Fiesta
Fiesta-inspired activities will be held to provide an alternative avenue for building rapport among students and faculty. The events held are non-competitive and emphasize community building, enjoyment, and camaraderie.
This supports the more structured and competitive Accountancy General Assembly in creating a welcoming and fun environment where Griffins feel a sense of belonging and feel that the cluster is their home.
Accountancy Recruitment Week
Separate, full-blown club orientations will be organized to ensure clubs have adequate time to introduce themselves and conduct their recruitment gimmicks efficiently and effectively.
This is also an opportunity for the cluster to find prospective participants for major university events such as Palarong Atenista, UFest, and Festival of Excellence.
ACC-Ademe: The Griffin Academic Support
ACC-Ademe is a platform that supports Griffins' academic growth by offering academic resources and empowering existing free, student-led tutorial services. ASEC, through its academic arm, ASSETS, will acquire past licensure examination reviewers, test banks, and more, preparing Griffins for both their current academic endeavors and future licensure examinations.
Through ACC-Ademe, ASEC will provide financial support to sustain ASSETS' operations, including the continued, regular offering of tutorial services in both face-to-face and online settings.
ACC-To-Date: The Griffin Calendar
ACC-To-Date is an information platform that keeps Griffins informed about curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities within the cluster. This aims to ensure that Griffins are well-informed, up to date, and engaged in upcoming events and major academic assessments.
A QR code will be posted on the official social media pages of the Accountancy Student Executive Council (ASEC), allowing students to integrate the created schedules into their G Suite ecosystem.
ACC-Celebrate: The Griffin Year-End Celebration
ACC-Celebrate is a year-end formal event that gathers Griffins together to celebrate the academic year. This is intended to be an avenue for students to connect with one another and commemorate the success of the Accountancy cluster.
ASEC will partner with its two (2) academic organizations, four (4) clubs, four (4) year-level student executive councils, and the BSA and BSMA sections to ensure that every Griffin is included and to maximize resources.
ACC-Knowledge: The Griffin Awards
An event that recognizes the efforts, contributions, and commitments of Griffins. This includes students with excellent academic performance, athletes, performers, and student leaders in the cluster.
ACC-Xternal Partnerships: The Griffin Network
ACC-Xternal Partnerships is an avenue for Griffins to connect with firms and businesses by providing structured, coordinated support for internship opportunities and application requirements. This platform aims to complement existing academic and administrative processes, easing the internship application process for Griffins.
ACC 101: Internship One-Stop Drive
A one-stop drive will be created where Griffins can see the companies they are allowed to apply to for internships, along with a collated list of requirements for each company. This information will be shared with the Griffins from first to fourth year.
A Google Sheets will also be created to reflect real-time updates regarding internship application availability. This will help Griffins determine which companies are still accepting applications, helping them manage their time and resources.
